the mission

On average, our eyes consume approximately 54,000 words everyday, also equivalent to 443 minutes of video. That is a monstrous amount of energy-zapping filtering our eyes and brain have to handle, processing visual information (in which to-be-honest, is mostly junk). And we wonder why we're mentally exhausted at the end of the day.

I am a graphic designer, expressive typographer and lover of beautiful things, on a quest to visually communicate ideas in a bold, clean and succinct fashion. Eye-catching and eye-appeasing at the same time.

THE CREATIVE X design

In 2013, I studied at Shillington College in Sydney, Australia. Upon my return to New Zealand, I interned at Supply Studio and freelanced at APLUS Design Studio for a month before moving into my position at BE Intent as UX and graphic designer.

I am an avid expressive typographer who has had the privilege of collaborating on a typographic piece with Wayne Thompson of the Australian Type Foundry through "The Design Kids." I had typography featured in Typism Volume 1 (2013) and again, will have the honor of being showcased in Typism Volume 2 (2015).

I thrive off being busy. During out-of-office hours, I continue with freelance design work,  and act as Creative Director for a non-profit organisation "WhatHope."

I am also a beginner letterpresser; the proud owner of an 1890 Golding Pearl Letterpress. So in the more relaxing weekends, you'll find me in my garage getting my hands and face dirty with ink.
